You have a criminal record. – This criterion is subject to change as currently not every recorded crime will stop you from obtaining a DIA, however, we can say for certain that those people with sexual assault charges, a history of child abuse, a history of aggression etc… against their name will not be eligible to work in this industry
You have multiple driving offences – This criterion does not affect those who have had a few speeding or parking tickets, however, those people who repeatedly break the law, or have serious traffic infringements against their name such as drink driving charges should check with the CPVV to see they their history will exclude them from the industry before enrolling into this course.
You have had your licence suspended multiple times
If any of the above concerns you, we recommend speaking with our course coordinator or the CPVV prior to enrolling in this course.

5 THINGS YOU MUST KNOW WHEN CONTEMPLATING YOUR FUTURE WITH A TRAINING PROVIDER
Here at Intelligent Training Solutions, we believe that it is important to turn ones 'BELIEF into KNOWLEDGE' and that knowing that price of a course does not always equal to understanding the value of that course and the importance of it being delivered correctly.
Every Registered Training Organisations (RTO) in Australia must adhere to marketing standards set out by our regulators when advertising a nationally recognised course. The consequences of selecting the wrong provider and having your qualification stripped away from you is not worth the financial risk or embarrassment.
For this reason, we have provided you with 5 simple steps that you can measure us and any other provider against to ensure you are choosing a quality, compliant training provider that has your best interests in heart. So, here are a few important things you should consider when choosing the right course provider:
Can you easily find the enrolment fee for your course on the provider's website or marketing information? NOTE: You should not need to make a phone call to find out the price of a course.
The Driving Instructor course is a 435 hour nationally accredited course. Are you being told you can complete this course in a couple of weeks?
Remember...do the math.... 35 hours of study a week for 3 weeks only equals 105hrs!
Can you easily define the study requirements of your course? Are you being provided with the number of hours, days and weeks you are expected to study? Are you being provided with realistic expectations!
Can you confirm that any 'online' or 'self-paced' study is MORE than a textbook dump of information? and;
Are you able to get written confirmation of the training and support you can expect to receive before you enrol? Remember, words don't mean a lot if the training provider is not prepared to put it in writing for you!
IMPORTANT NOTE: The marketing standards within the Standards of RTOs 2015 require training providers to be clear, transparent and PUBLIC with their course information allowing potential students like yourself to understand the full requirements, expectations and financial costs of their courses before they enrol.
